The 2019 Concrete Repair Association General Meeting and Social Day was held at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa Hotel, Liverpool. The CRA welcomed members and guests to join in the afternoon activities in the sunshine, followed by a lovely evening dinner.

Some guests chose to partake in a round of golf on the challenging 72-par Championship Old Course, and established venue on the European Seniors Tour, European Challenge Tour and PGA Euro Pro Tour. Some fantastic rounds of golf were witnessed for the Concrete Repair Teams which lead to an abundance of prizes being won at the evening presentation.

Other guests chose to join a friendly competition of rifle shooting and archery in the grounds of the hotel. Each challenge was scored individually, and the winner collected their prizes at the evening dinner.

The evening dinner was held in the charming Diplomat Suite overlooking the 18th hole on the Championship Course, allowing guests to relax and socialise with other members. The evening entertainment consisted of guest speaker, Alan Chambers MBE. A former Royal Marine, Alan led the first unsupported UK expedition from Canada to the geographic North Pole.
